Surf shots: Photos of swell in OC on Friday

If you were still in a food comma and weren’t able to roll out of bed today, I went out and took some shots to show you what you missed.

There were plenty of waves coming through near the Huntington Beach Pier today as the northwest swell arrived. It should ease through tomorrow and fade through the end of the weekend, according to Surfline.com.

Down at Bolsa Chica , the waves were big (6 -8 foot)  but closed out, with a lot of people getting thrashed out there - and plenty others staying dry in the parking lot.
