Atwater party: Bring canned good to bar, get cheap drinks

Thanksgiving Eve is always a great going out night and busy for bars — with nothing to do but sit around eating turkey all Thanksgiving day, I suppose people don’t seem to mind the hangover.
Surfwear company Atwater is hosting a Thanksgiving eve party and canned food drive tonight. Basically, for each canned food you bring in, you’ll get a drink ticket good for $1 blondes, $2 well drinks, or $2 drafts.
The party kicks off at 9 p.m. tonight at the Newport Beach Brewing Company.
The canned goods and drink specials benefits Mary’s Kitchen.
