If you don’t have any plans this coming Sunday evening and want to help out a fellow surfer then check this out. There’s a fundraiser for Newport Beach local Jay Thomas who was paralyzed while surfing last March.
A handful of good bands will be jamming at DiPiazza Restaurant and Lava Lounge in Long Beach. They include: Smogtown, Harbortown Saints, The Junk and special guests Dano and The Juke Joint Freak Show.
Come out and enjoy some good food, good music and help Jay Thomas get back in the water again. 100% of the door money and 20% of all dinner receipts will be donated to the Jay Thomas Special Needs Trust.
Tickets are $10 and all ages are welcome. For the latest on Jay’s progress, go to jaysroadtorecovery.blogspot.com.
