The Orange County Register reports that Quiksilver Inc. will lay off 168 more people at its Huntington Beach headquarters, according to a notice filed with the California Employment Development Department.

Register reporter Mary Ann Milbourn wrote that officials at the action sportswear company were not immediately available to discuss the cuts.

The layoff notice says 153 workers will be let go by July 21 and another 15 will leave by Oct. 1.
