“As the national scholastic surfing championships continue this week at Salt Creek Beach Park in Dana Point, Tustin’s Marty Weinstein, San Clemente’s Kevin Osborne and San Clemente’s Chris Smith have reached the pinnacle of collegiate surfing.
Weinstein, who attends UC San Diego, captured the National Scholastic Surfing Association’s 2009 men’s collegiate title Wednesday.
Osborne, surfing for Saddleback College, took the NSSA collegiate longboard title. Smith, competing for Cal State San Marcos, was a two-division finalist and helped lead San Marcos to its first NSSA national team title…”
