If you didn’t feel like driving a couple hours north or south for the most recent Channel Islands Demo Days, then here’s an event close by.

The CI crew will be making a stop in Surf City this week for a chance to test out all the latest Al Merrick shapes.

If you’ve never tried an Al Merrick Channel Islands surfboard, then this is a great opportunity.

These boards are all computer shaped with the exception of the top team rider boards which are fine tuned by Mr. Al Merrick himself.

And you never know…a few of CI’s team riders might be on hand with some of their boards to try.

When: Saturday June 13, 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
