Nike 6.0 Pier Pressure returning to HB

In just a few weeks, 80 of the world’s best 19 and under Junior Pro surfers will be taking over the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier.
The 2009 Nike 6.0 Pier Pressure presented by Jack’s Surfboards is an ASP Grade-4 Pro Junior competition.
Six of the highest rated Junior Pros from Australia, Japan, Africa, Europe, South America and Hawaii will battle it out with the best North American surfers.
Some of the top talent from California competing this year includes Newport Beach’s Andrew Doheny, Ventura’s Cory Arrambide and Santa Cruz’s Nat Young.
The 2009 Nike 6.0 Pier Pressure has a total prize purse of $20,000. If you can’t make it down to the beach, check out the live action at http://nike6pierpressure.com
