Let’s face it – we can all use a fresh start this New Year’s Day.

Hundreds of brave beachgoers will be splashing into the frigid ocean at high noon near the Huntington Beach Pier on Thursday to kick off 2009 at the annual Lions Surf City Splash.

Will you be out there to take a dip?
