Surf Report 12-5-08

Waking up with the waves on Friday.  Well she’s definitely coming alive out there.  Yep it’s showing some decent size at the more exposed west facing spots.

It’s clean and glassy with a pretty good amount of west northwest swell and a touch of southwest energy in the water.  That recipe is making for some fast wedgy lines with some good shoulders to pick off.

Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high with the focal points pulling shoulder to head high waves with some overhead sets.

And there’s not much change with those tides.  At 9:07 a.m the tide drops to a 2.9 low and then pushes back up to a 3.7 high at 1:58 this afternoon.

If  you’re gonna grab a session throw on the 3/2 fullsuit with the water temp at most spots hanging between 59 and 61 degrees.
