It seems like many of us are pretty bummed about the economy, but if you’re a surfer, when it’s time to stop spending, you should be stoked. Think about it … riding waves doesn’t cost a dime.
Imagine if every time you paddled out, you had to pay $20 for a two-hour session. Well if you surf every day that would cost $140 a week and $560 a month with a grand total of $6,720 a year. Yeah, that would be a total bummer.
Surfers really only need two pieces of equipment: a board and a wetsuit. A typical surfboard costs between $350 and $500, while a full wetsuit goes for about $200.
Just a little food for thought!!
