Surf Report 10-28-08

October 28th, 2008, 6:50 am · Post a Comment · posted by Jeff Malanca, contributing writer

Good Tuesday morning surfers.  Well she’s looking pretty tired out there.  Yep it’s back into small mode just about everywhere.

It’s mostly clean and glassy with a mix of some minor leftover south southwest swell and a touch of northwest energy.  That’s offering us some kind crumbly sectiony lines with a few fun ones to pick off.

Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top south facing spots pulling stomach high waves with a few inconsistent chest high sets.

At 9:01 a.m the tide pushes way up to a 6.2 high which will have some spots swamped or shut off mid morning.  The tide then drains out to a negative 0.2 low at 3:54 this afternoon.

If you’re gonna get wet a thin fullsuit will do you right with the water temp at most spots hanging between 61 and 64 degrees.

Good luck out there!!
