Surf Report 10-16-08

Waking up with the waves on Thursday.  Well it’s not cranking, but it’s definitely not small out there.  Overeall it’s looking pretty playful.  It’s nice and clean with mostly some moderate south southwest swell in the water.

That recipe is offering us some semi-wally workable lines with the occasional good wedger.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to stomach high with the top south facing spots pulling chest to shoulder high waves with a few inconsistent plus sets.

At 10:10 a.m the tide climbs way up to a 6.7 high which will shut down some spots late morning.  The tide then drops to a negative 0.6 low at 5:15 this evening.

If you’re gonna grab a session, you can pull off a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temp warming up a tad and  most spots averaging between 58 and 60 degrees.

Have fun out there!!
