ISA World Surfing Games

The Olympics of surfing are about ready to begin. The 2008 International Surfing Association ISA World Surfing Games take place in Costa da Caparica, Portugal. This years Team USA roster has two top ASP World Championship Tour rippers, CJ Hobgood and Ben Bourgeois who will lead the mens squad. Junior surfers include Malibu’s Dillon Perillo and Santa Cruz’s Nat Young. Representing the women are ASP World Qualifying Series standout Lauren Sweeney and Santa Barbara’s Demi Boelsterli. The lone longboarder is Taylor Jensen from Imperial Beach. Lastly, in the bodyboard division, is Jeremy Wright from Long Beach, Jacob Romero from Hawaii, and Keila Grodzen from Dana Point.
