Surf Report 9-22-08

Good Monday morning surf addicts.  Well she’s about ready for a jumpstart.  Yep it’s fairly small and kinda weak just about everywhere.  It’s mostly clean and glassy with a mix of continued fading south southwest swell and minor west northwest energy.

That recipe is making for some crumbly broken up lines with a few fun ones to pick off.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top spots pulling stomach high waves with maybe a plus set if you’re lucky.

At 9:01 a.m the tide drops to a 3.4 low and then pushes back up to a 5.4 high at 3:41 this afternoon.  If you’re gonna grab a grovel session, break out a thin fullsuit for at least that a.m surf with the water temp hanging on the cool side between 63 and 65 degrees.

Good luck out there!!
