No More Koastal Kaos Surf Series

September 21st, 2008, 3:10 pm · Post a Comment · posted by Jeff Malanca, contributing writer

If you’re an up and coming pro or amateur surfer from Southern California you have probably competed in a No Fear Koastal Kaos Surf Series event over the last couple of years.  Well with much disappointment, the pro/am series put on by No Fear clothing has been phased out to help improve amatuer surfing.  No Fear is now the official sponsor of the NSSA’s Jr. Series, which is a perfect venue for middle and high school short boarders and longboarders wanting to learn how to compete.  No Fear is also the title sponsor of The National Scholastic Surfing Association’s Southwest Conference Open and Explorer seasons.  For more info. or for a schedule of the contests, check out nssa.org.
