Bud Browne tribute Saturday at SHF

Surf history fans along with family and friends of the late great Bud Browne will be gathering for a tribute Saturday at the Surfing Heritage Foundation.

SHF will pay homage to Browne’s pioneering efforts in cinematography and surf movie making. At the  tribute some of surfing’s other pioneers will gather to reflect on Browne’s legacy, including Greg Noll, Bruce Brown, Mickey Munoz, Paul Strauch Jr., Linda Benson and a taped presentation from Greg MacGillivray.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30. Tickets are $10. VIP tickets include private reception, special exhibit, appetizers, drinks, and premiere seating for $50.  Proceeds from the tribute support the Surfing Heritage Foundation’s ongoing mission of preserving surf culture.
