Surf report 9-8-2008

Good Monday morning surf addicts.  Well it’s looking pretty fair out there.  We’ve got a decent dose of swell, but we’re dealing with a light to moderate south wind which is putting some texture or bump on it at many spots.

There’s mostly south southwest swell in the water.  That recipe is making for some fast semi-wally lines, with a few fun corners to pick off.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to chest high with the top south facing spots pulling shoulder high waves with a few plus sets.

As far as the tides go.  It slowly climbs up all day eventually hitting a 4.6 high at 4:52 this afternoon.  If you’re gonna get wet break out a thin full or a short sleeve full for at least that a.m session with the water temp hanging between 64 and 67 degrees.

Good luck out there!!
