Surf Report 8-25-08

August 25th, 2008, 6:47 am · Post a Comment · posted by Jeff Malanca, contributing writer

Good Monday morning surfers.  Well go get it Groms.  Yep we’re dealing with some more small action.  It’s mostly clean with a mix of minor leftover southwest swell, some minimal south southeast energy and a tad of northwest windswell.

That recipe is making for some kinda soft sectiony lines with a few fun corners.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top spots pulling stomach high waves with maybe a plus set if you’re lucky.

And there’s not much change with those tides this morning.  At 7:26 a.m it climbs up to a 3.4 high and then barely drops to a 3.1 low at 10:37 later this morning and then pushes up again to a 5.8 high at 5:16 this evening.

If you’re gonna grab a grovel session, break out a thin full with the water temp at most spots hanging kinda on the cool side between 63 and 67 degrees.

Good luck!!
