The best men’s beach volleyball team in the world will get a chance to prove it on Thursday.

Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers blew past Georgia’s Renato Gomes and Jorge Terceiro  21-11, 21-13 in just 41 minutes to advance to the gold medal match.  Dalhausser gave a dominating performance with nine blocks and three aces.

The Amereican duo will face Brazil’s Marcio Araujo and Fabio Luiz in the final 11 p.m. Thursday.
