Good Monday morning surf addicts. Well it’s looking like another good day if you’re a grom. Yep it’s pretty small and weak up and down the coast.
It’s semi-clean with a light bump on it due to the minor west northwest wind. We’ve got a mix of some small scale southwest swell, some minor south southeast energy and a touch of northwest windswell.
That recipe is making for some drained out sectiony lines, with a few workable ones. Things should improve once that tide fills in later on. Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top spots pulling stomach high waves, with an occasional plus set.
At 11:08 later this morning the tide climbs up to a 4.9 high and then drops to a 1.4 low at 4:47 this afternoon. If you’re gonna grab a session, break out a thin full for at least the morning with the water temp cooling off a bit and most spots hanging between 64 and 67 degrees.
