Good Thursday morning surf addicts. Well it looks like our run of fun waves is sticking around for another day. It’s dropped a tad, but you can still find some good ones, especially at the better beachbreaks. It’s mostly clean with a combo of some minor south southeast swell, some residual south southwest energy and a touch of remnant northwest windswell.
That recipe is making for some fast sectiony lines, with plenty of workable corners to grab. Most OC beaches are running about knee to chest high with the top spots pulling a few shoulder high sets.
At 9:39 a.m the tide climbs up to a four foot high and then drops to a 2.4 low at 2:19 this afternoon. If you’re gonna grab a session, a short sleeve full will do the job with the water temp at most spots hanging between 66 and 69 degrees.
