Factor 54 the surf and skate clothing brand based out of Costa Mesa is gearing up for the return of its grom summer surf series.  This year it’s called “Freaks of the Peak” and each of the three events offers cash and prizes for the finalists.  The contests are all free and on a first come first serve basis to the first 48 surfers in each division.  The Juniors is 15-17 with the groms 14 and under.  Contest number one gets underway this Thursday July 24th, event number two is Thursday July 31st and the last one Thursday August 7th.  All the competitions take place at 54th street in Newport Beach starting at 7 a.m sharp.  For more info. check out factor54.com.
