The third stop of the MADA/Sun Diego Summer Surf Series is just around the corner.  If you’re a pro or an amateur surfer from the southland this is an killer event to check out.  There’s a handful of cash and prizes up for grabs for the finalists and you can always count on lots of solid competition, with the possibility of some well-known pros.  The contests have five divisions including; pro-am, open mens, juniors, groms and masters.  First place in the Pro-am walks away with $500, Open mens $200, Masters $150, Juniors $150 and Groms $100.  The action all goes down on Saturday July 26th at San Fernando Place in Mission Beach.  For more info. check out sundiego.com.
