Waking up with the waves on Saturday. Well it looks like we have a decent amount of action on tap. So if that flat spell has had you bummed out, go grab a few.
The only bummer we’re dealing with a light to moderate southwind which is putting some texture or bump on it at many spots. We’ve got a decent dose of mostly south swell with a tad of leftover northwest windswell.
That recipe is making for some kinda crumbly drained out lines, with a few good wedgers. Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high with the top south facing spots pulling shoulder high waves with some inconistent head high sets.
At 5:04 a.m the tide dropped to a negative 0.6 low which will have many breaks desperate for water early on. The tide then climbs up to a four foot high at 11:34 later this morning and then drops once again to a 2.3 low at 4:15 this afternoon.
If you’re gonna grab a session, throw on thin full or possibly short sleever for at least that a.m session, with the water temp at most spots hanging between 64 and 68 degrees.
