San Clemente surfer Mike Losness and Spy Optics have partnered in a new fundraiser for the Save Trestles battle.

An original painting of Trestles by Losness will be raffled off at September’s ASR tradeshow. Tickets are $5 and will be available at Spy’s website and surfshops the painting will be touring.

The first stop is Becker Surfboards in Huntington Beach July 25th-Aug. 3rd. All proceeds from the raffle go to the Save Trestles campaign.

“I’ve grown up surfing Trestles since I was about 12 years old, and have a lot of memories from out there,” Losness says. “From the walk down the trail to the wave itself, I know it is special to many surfers, not just to me. I really wanted to give back to this beach and wave that has given me and other surfers so many good days. Buy a raffle ticket and help save Trestles!”
The grand prize winner will be randomly chosen and announced at ASR, Sept 6, 2008 (raffle winner need not be present to win). Runner-up prize packages will also be awarded.
