If you paddled out this morning at a beach in the northern part of Orange County in a spring suit or a pair of trunks you were probably hating it.  Yep that water temp took another dip for the second time in the last month or so.  Just a few days ago some spots in south OC had water temperatures reaching 72 degrees while spots like Huntington and Newport were averaging between 67 and 69 degrees.  Today those north county breaks were averaging between 57 and 63 degrees with the beaches down south hanging between 60 and 64.  Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’ll warm back up fast so we can throw on a spring suit or even a pair of boardies again.  For now you’ll want to break out at least that thin fullsuit or at least keep one handy in the car!!
