Waking up with the waves on Saturday. Well if you’ve been pitted in the office all week go get wet. Yep we’ve got some decent swell out there, but the shapes looking kinda lousy. It’s mostly clean with some spots seeing a little texture on it.
We’ve got mostly a fair amount of south southwest swell in the water. That recipe is making for some fast kinda crumbly semi-wally lines, with some good makeable corners. Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high with the top south facing breaks pulling shoulder high waves, with a few plus sets.
At 6:26 a.m the tide climbed up to three feet and then drops to a 1.9 low at 10:58 later this morning and then pushes up again to a 5.9 high at 5:51 this evening. If you’re gonna get wet, a short sleeve full or even a spring suit is plenty with the water temp at most spots hanging between 67 and 70 degrees.
