This is a bit out of our hood, but definitely a talker.

A beach brawl broke out over the weekend up in Malibu between surfers and paparazzi lined up on the sand trying to get shots of Matthew McConaughey (I would too… smoking hot!) while he was out in the lineup, TMZ reports.  

The surfers came out swingin’, hitting one of the photogs in the face and breaking a nose, and rocks were flying. Click here on the image to the right for a video.

McConaughey hired some security, but looks like that didn’t help much because another scuffle broke out a day later, when some surfers threw bottles at the photographers on the beach. Read the full stories here.

Malibu wasn’t the only place there was a scuffle. Here in Huntington Beach we saw some blood after a brawl broke out off Main and Pacific Coast Highway.

It wasn’t on the sand, but traffic at the crowded intersection stopped after a group of guys got out of their car after getting into it with some other guys crossing the street.
