Surf Report 6-19-08

Good Thursday morning surf addicts. Well you better mark down this run of waves in the books. Yep it just keep rolling through. However we’re dealing with some serious fog parked along the waters edge at many spots right now. It’s pretty clean and glassy with a continued mix of south southwest swell and some decent northwest windswell.

That recipe is making for some fast drained out sectiony lines, with some good wedgers. Look for things to improve once that water fills in a bit. Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high with the top combo spots pulling shoulder to head high waves with some inconsistent overhead sets.

At 4:57 a.m the tide dropped to a negative 0.7 low which will have many breaks drained out early on. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.5 high at 11:40 later this morning and then climbs up again to a 5.9 high at 10 this evening. If your’e gonna grab a session, well that water temps warming back up, but I’d still throw on a thin full for at least that morning session with it hanging between 64 and 68 degrees.
