Good Thursday morning surf addicts. Well it’s looking like more of the same. Yep there’s still plenty of waves, but we’re lacking in the shape department. It’s mostly-clean with a light to moderate southwind which is putting some texture or minor bump on it. We’ve got mostly fading south southwest swell and a touch northwest windswell.
That recipe is making for some kinda crumbly semi-wally lines, with some good wedgy makeable corners. Most OC beaches are runnning about waist to chest high with the top spots pulling shoulder high waves, with some head high plus sets.
At 6:03 a.m the tide climbed up to a 3.2 high and then drops to a 1.6 low at 11:24 later this morning. The tide then pushes up once again to a 5.2 high at 6:13 this evening. If you’re gonna get wet, a short sleeve full is the call for at least that a.m session with the water temp hanging between 65 and 67 degrees.
