Surf Report 6-9-08

June 9th, 2008, 6:43 am · Post a Comment · posted by Jeff Malanca, contributing writer

Good Monday morning surf addicts.  Well it looks like our run of fun waves is hanging around for another day.  Yep there’s some nice combo action out there.  So you might want to hit up one of the more exposed beachbreaks.  It’s mostly clean and glassy with a mix of some fair southwest swell and some leftover northwest windswell.

That recipe is making for some fast sectiony lines with plenty of workable shoulders to pick off.  Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high with the top spots pulling shoulder high waves with a few bigger sets.

At 8:58 a.m the tide drops to zero feet and then climbs back up to a 4.4 high at 4:03 this afternoon.  If you’re gonna grab some of the action break out no more than a thin fullsuit with the water temp hanging between 62 and 65 degrees.

Have at it!!
