Former long-time ASP WCTer Cory Lopez is continuing his relationship with the original action sports watch.  The Floridian has re-signed a multi-year contract with Freestyle watches.  If for some reason you never heard, this is the first year Lopez hasn’t qualified for the World Championship Tour in years.  Freestyle has also added Aussie Charger Anthony Walsh to its team.  Big Wave Charger Mike Parsons has a new gig.   The Industry Veteran has been brought on as the new Von Zipper Surf Marketing Manager.  Way to go Snips!!  Does the name Robbie Page ring a bell?  Yep he’s the Aussie goofy-footer from back in the day on the ASP World Tour who’s still ripping.  Apparently he started a company with some German engineers.  Yep these guys are making high level, laser cut, super flexible surfboards.  And they’ve also come up with a new surf wax too!!  To find out more, check out Cream Surfing Limited.  The first ever Boards and Waves Expo has already sold out.  The trade show which will unveil all the latest materials to build surfboards has already been filled to capacity with exhibitors.  The two day event taking place in Daytona Beach, Florida July 12th and 13th is open to the public.  For more info. check out boardsandwaves.com.
