If you didn’t catch it already, check out the ad in tomorrow’s Outoors page and you’ll see the Register’s latest offering to local surfing fans.
The Register has partnered with our friends at Billabong to give local kids a way to learn to surf … in style.
Kids ages 6 to 16 years old can win a week at Billabong Surf Camp, learning how to catch waves from seasoned surfers and maybe a few pros too.
The camp is in Huntington Beach, so there’s no extra gas spent on driving your groms to far away spots. Even if you don’t win a week’s worth of camp, runners up receive a Billabong prize pack. It’s hardly a consolation prize, the goodies assembled in the backpack will make your surf buddies green with envy.
If you’re still breathing normally, click here by June 4 and enter. Or if you can’t wait, click here to sign up for the camp.
