Surf Report 5-25-08

Good Sunday morning surf addicts.  Well it looks like she’s in need of a jumpstart.  Yep it’s definitely pretty small out there up and down the coast.  It’s mostly clean with some spots seeing a little texture due to the light southeast wind.

We’ve got some very minor leftover northwest windswell and some residual southeast energy in the water.  That recipe is making for some pretty weak sectiony lines, with a few fun ones if you’re on something thick and wide or a log.

Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top combo breaks pulling some stomach high waves, with maybe a plus set if you’re lucky.

At 8:01 a.m the tide drops to a 0.1 low which will have some spots lacking water mid morning.  The tide then climbs back up to a 3.3 high at 3:34 this afternoon.  If you’re gonna get wet, a thin full is plenty with the water temp at most spots averaging between 61 and 64 degrees.

Have at it!!
