NSSA West Coast Championships Are On!!

The best amateur surfers from up and down the California coast are gathered in “Surf City” this week. The National Scholastic Surfing Association’s 2008 West Coast Regional Championships are taking place on the southside of the Huntington Beach Pier Wednesday May 14th through Sunday May 18th. Surfers from the NSSA’s Southwest, Gold Coast, and Northwest Conferences are battling for West Coast regional titles and a chance to earn crucial points to  qualify for the 2008 NSSA Nationals. The Western Championships feature the Open, Explorer and Airshow categories. For more info. check out nssa.org or you can watch the live action at the HB Pier.
