Surf Report 4-30-08

Good Wednesday morning surfers.  Well the good news, it definitely picked up.  The bad news, that same lame stiff southwind is putting a decent chop on it at many spots.  If that lays down at some point later on, it could get kinda good.

We’ve got a combo of some southwest swell and a little northwest windswell in the water.  That recipe is making for some crumbly and bumpy broken up lines, with a few decent ones to pick off.  Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high with the top combo spots pulling shoulder-high waves, with maybe a few plus sets.

At 5:44 a.m the tide climbed up to a 4.1 high and then drops to a 0.4 low at 12:23 this afternoon.  If you’re gonna get wet, keep that 4/3 full handy with the water temp hanging between 55 and 57 degrees.

Good luck out there!!
