Register reporter Jon Cassidy had a story this morning about an impromptu street-surfing session Sunday evening  that ended with a man getting stung with a Taser.

The man - along with two others - ended up in jail.

The guys were street surfing after a black Ford Mustang at 6 p.m. Sunday slammed into a fire hydrant at Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway, sending water gushing 100 feet in the air. Hundreds of people started playing in the water. Police were not happy.
