Surf Report 4-13-08

Good Sunday morning surf addicts.  Well she’s still looking very sleepy.  Yep overall it’s pretty micro up and down the coast.  It’s mostly clean and glassy with some spots seeing a little surface texture on it.

We’ve got mostly very minor south southwest swell in the water.  That recipe is making for some crumbly lines, with a few little steep runners, that’ll let you grab a turn or two.  Your best bet is probably a fish or even a log.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top south facing breaks pulling maybe a plus set.

At 11:46 a.m the tide drains out to a negative 0.3 low which will have many spots lacking water or even shut off mid-day.  The tide then climbs back up to a 4 foot high at 6:49 this evening.  If you’re gonna get wet, well it’s pretty toasty outside, so I’d definitely break out no more than a 3/2 full, with most spots averaging between 57 and 59 degrees.

Have at it!!
