Surf Report 4-12-08

April 12th, 2008, 5:42 pm · Post a Comment · posted by Jeff Malanca

Good Saturday evening surf addicts.  Well there’s not much action out there.  Yep overall it’s pretty small up and down the coast.  There’s a light to moderate northwest wind which is putting a decent bump or even light chop at many spots.

We’ve got mostly very minor southwest energy in the water.  That recipe is making for some crumbly and bumpy lines with a few decent corners, that’ll let you squeeze in a turn or two.  Most OC beaches are running about knee high with the top south facing breaks pulling waist high waves with maybe a plus set if you’re lucky.

At 6:07 this evening the tide climbs up to a 3.6 high and then drops to a 2.8 low at 10:20 p.m.  If you’re gonna get wet, you can pull off a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temp hanging between 57 and 58 degrees.

Have at it!!
