Surf Report 4-10-08

Waking up with the waves on Thursday. Well, it’s looking kinda fun, but it dropped a bit.  It’s pretty clean with a little texture on it at some spots. We’ve got a mix of mostly minor west northwest windswell and a touch of southwest energy.

That recipe is making for some kinda weak short peaky lines, with a few that’ll run down the line.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high, with the top west facing spots pulling chest-high waves, with a few shoulder-high plus sets.

At 7:50 a.m the tide drains out to a negative 0.6 low which will have some spots lacking water mid morning.  The tide then pushes back up to a three foot high at 2:54 p.m. If your’re gonna get wet, throw on the 4/3 full with the water temp taking a dip and averaging between 55 and 57 degrees.

Have fun out there!!
