Well, his surfboards were on the verge of becoming one of the biggest names in business back in the late 90’s.
But for whatever reason, the JC surfboard brand kinda fell off the map for some time. Just recently John Carper decided it was time to get things rolling again. So he hired industry veteran Skip Snead. Snead, the former Surfing Magazine editor, is now the company’s first ever VP of Global Sales and Marketing.
With Snead on board, JC Hawaii is re-launching the brand with a new ad campaign, a new website and new team riders. Some of the notable names who’ve been riding JC’s since the beginning include, former ASP WCTer Shane Dorian, Norcal Big Wave Charger Peter Mel and Newport Beach Air Wizard Josh Hoyer. Look for the boards to be at a shop near you!!
