Waking up with the waves on Sunday. Well it’s looking pretty marginal out there. Yep there was a moderate northwest wind on it early, but that appears to by backing off a bit. So it’s a little clean than earlier, but there’s still some bump or even light chop on the water at some spots. We’ve got the continued mix of fading southwest swell and some minor northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is making for some sorta disorganized sectiony lines, with a few workable corners. Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high, with the top combo breaks pulling stomach to chest high waves, with maybe a few plus sets.
At twelve seventeen this afternoon the tide drops to a 0.4 low which will have some spots lacking water mid day. The tide then climbs back up to a 3.4 high at seven forty eight this evening. If you’re really in need of a salt water bath, throw on no more than the 4/3 full, with the water temp hanging between 57 and 58 degrees.
Good luck!!
