SCOPING THE SLOPES ON SATURDAY

Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are going good.  Both resorts are sitting on an 18 to 36 inch base, with excellent coverage on the open runs.  Conditions are mostly machine groomed hard pack, that will turn soft and slushy later in the day.  Both mountains have a total of 26 lifts.

Mountain High is looking like a repeat of yesterday.  Both the east and west resorts are open for boarding and skiing.  They’re checking in with a 2 to 3 foot base, with spring conditions, and up to 9 lifts.

Mt. Baldy has  more of the same, with a 20 to 40 inch base.  Conditions are mostly machine groomed, with a total of 4 lifts.

Mammoth Mountain has killer spring conditions.  They’re sitting on a 9 to 12 foot base, with firm, machine groomed packed powder, a few obstacles, and  25 lifts.

Get up there and enjoy it!!
