Waking up with the waves on Saturday…Well if you’ve been stuck in the office all week, then get out there. Yep it’s looking really fun, especially at some of the more exposed beachbreaks. It’s mostly clean with some spots seeing a little texture on it, due to the light northwest wind.

We’ve got a mix of some southwest swell and some west northwest energy in the water. That recipe is making for some kinda crumbly sectiony lines, with a few good wedgy shoulders. Most OC beaches are running about waist to chest high, with the top combo spots pulling shoulder high waves, with some head high sets.

At twelve fifteen this afternoon the tide drops to a 0.3 low and then pushes back up to a 3.2 high at seven forty five this evening. If you’re planning on paddling, break out no more than the 4/3 full, with the water temp averaging between 57 and 59 degrees.

Have fun out there!!
