Waking up with the waves on Wednsday…Well it looks like there’s a little bit of a wave out there.  It’s still fairly small, but if you don’t mind doing a little driving, you can find a few playful waves.  It’s pretty clean, but some spots are seeing a little texture on it, due to the light east southeast wind.

We’ve got a mix of mostly minor south southwest swell, with a tad of northwest energy.  That’s making for some kinda soft semi-walled lines with a few workable sections.  Most OC beaches are running about knee to waist high with the top south facing spots pulling stomach high waves with a few chest high plus sets.

At nine o five this morning the tide climbs up to 6.5 high, which will slow down some spots mid morning.  The tide then drains out to a negative 1.3 low at four ten this afternoon.  If you’re gonna squeeze in a session, throw on the 4/3 fullsuit and the booties, with the water temp hanging between 55 and 57 degrees.

Have fun out there!!
