He missed the best two days of the year - Wednesday and Thursday -no wind, no swell all day both days. I hope he has good support because he seems to have limited knowledge about the San Pedro channel. Larry Kapune did the same paddle -- paddle to Avalon stay the night then paddle back -- back in the 70s, but he did it solo with no support no escort and a jar of peanut butter. Larry had a waterman's knowledge about weather and navigation, though.
