Waking up with the waves on Saturday…Well if you’ve been praying for surf it’s paying off.  Yep we’ve got some fun action out there.  It’s looks like most of the coast will be pretty fun.  It’s mostly clean with some spots seeing a light texture on it. We’ve got the continued mix of west northwest swell and a little northwest windswell mixing in.

That recipe is making for some fairly broken up lines, with the sets a bit walled.  Most OC beaches are running about waist to stomach high with the top west facing breaks pulling chest to shoulder high waves with some bigger sets.

At eight forty two this morning the tide drops to a 3.3 low and then pushes back up to a 4.3 high at one fifty two this afternoon.  As far as the water temp goes, I’d break out the 3/2 full with it hanging at most spots between 60 and 62 degrees.
