Mohr to perform, show film at Ron Jon

Pro longboarder Josh Mohr of Huntington Beach has been keeping himself busy. Even if the pro longboard circuit has virtually dried up, it hasn’t stopped Mohr. He’s opened his own surf shop in Huntington, started his own band, The Dirty Heads, and become a filmmaker.
Mohr will be showing off his entrepreneurial skills on Saturday when he gives a live performance before a free public screening of his new movie “More than Waves.”
“More than Waves,” his first film, follows Mohr and two friends as they try to rediscover surfing and how they were hooked by the sport and the culture since they started.
The Dirty Heads along with Fullerton musician Mike Barnet kick things off at 3 p.m. Ron Jon Surf Shop is located in The Block at Orange. For more information, call 714-939-9822.
