Oahu’s Northshore season has just got underway with pros from all over the globe.  The Triple Crown of Surfing contest scene is the main talk around the nearly 10 mile stretch of coastline.  However, this year free surfers have a chance to make some money with the introduction of the Freewave Challenge presented by Billabong.  Basically it works like this…any surfer that is captured on video from now until the end of December can take part.  There are two categories, Best Performance Ride and Best Tube Ride.  There’s a total prize purse of $40,000 up for grabs.  For all the details go to www.FreewaveChallenge.com
