Bacteria warning at Bolsa

UPDATE:

Bolsa was cleared as of 4 p.m. Thursday, but the following areas were added:
-Huntington State Beach from Newland was lifted, but high bacteria levels were found from 500 feet upcoast of Magnolia to 500 feet downcoast of Brookhurst street. 
- Newport Bay, Rhine Channel was also added to the list.

The Orange County Health Department just posted a high bacteria warning in Bolsa Chica State Beach.

The warning is from 1,000 feet at parking area #14.

The beach is not closed - but swimmers and surfers are advised to stay out of the water.

A warning still exist at Huntington State Beach - from 500 feet upcoast of Newland Street to 500 feet downcoast of Brookhurst Street. 
 
The Orange County Health Department checks water quality five days a week. Check back at this blog for updates.
